a quick sneak peek at the lastest cinema MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN

Starring: Katrina kaif,Imran Khan, Alizafar,Kanwaljeet Singh,Parikshit Sahni.
Direction:Ali Abbas Zafar.
Music:Sohail sen.

The theme of the movie was quite predictable boy meets a girl but oh shit she is gonna be my bhabhi!!!!!! . But heavens the movie surprised me it was a pleasant rom-com told with precision and executed ostensibly. The timing was superb. It was an easy going -popkornish cinema with doses of smiles and amusement. I would recommend it if u want a relief from day to day life and watch a witty attempt then yes go for it.
Katrina has got class and she pulls of sporty,fun-filled character with charm. I can say after watching MBKD Katrina has improved tremenduosly as an actor. She has brought me under her spell with characters like "Dimple" and "Laila" . Imran is a smart actor and has understood this that pple love him potraying guy next door type characters. In recent times he has made intelligent choices which includes "Delhi Belly" and "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan".Ali Zafar is a gifted man be it music, acting, or looks ;). He mesmerised me with his debut bollywood cinema "Tere Bin Laden " and yet again he has proved himself with the character of kush.Although the character was flat one it was his natural flare for acting and his expressiveness on screen made it delightful.
The music is apt and is not forced it goes with the sequence of events for example "Kaisa yeh isk hai ajab sa risk hai " i think everyone who has either fallen in or out of love will identify with it lolz...... The background music timing during particular scenes is just hilarious like " mere pyari bindu ..." when kush is shown during dude in distress moments and "kaisa kaisa risk hai " its damn funny.... Talking of funny moments when dimple kidnaps luv ,carries him like a rucksack it was like watching bandit queen. The character of Dimple is an honest , forth-coming and fun-filled we all girlies can relate with her at some point. The screenplay, execution, timing, acting all this has made it well-finished product. In fact it struck me it can be called a classier version of "Tanu Weds Mannu". Its a thumbs up for me.
Ps: For all those who haven't yet heard Ali zafar u will hear him in this comedy in the song "madhubala" but for serious listening i would recmmend tune into cokestudio @ Pakistan.

PPs: the father of the respective bride and groom ,they are just like our Big man.
